If you do not see your question listed below, please do not hesitate to send me an e-mail using the Contact page. I will respond to all inquiries to the best of my abilities.

1. Is CME® the right therapy for my child?

If your child is developmentally delayed and does have any of the contraindications to CME® therapy, CME® may be an appropriate intervention for your child. Typically, I speak with families over the phone in advance to learn more about your child and determine if it is appropriate to pursue a CME® evaluation and subsequent treatment plan.

2. What age children do you work with?

I will begin working with children as early as 4 months of age. If I am working with children using CME® as an intervention, my ability to do so will depend on your child’s size and abilities. I will best be able to determine if I am able to work with older children using CME® techniques after meeting them in person. For children in which CME® is contraindicated or for those who are too large for me to work with, I render traditional physical therapy services to people into adulthood.

3. What should my child wear to therapy?

Physical therapy intervention is very active, so I recommend that children wear comfortable clothing. CME® intervention does not use braces during its implementation to allow for all muscles to be active. For children who typically wear AFOs, I recommend some type of orthopedic footwear or supportive high tops for additional ankle support during each session.

4. Do you accept insurance?

No, I am not an in-network provider for any insurance company.  However, I do provide monthly super bills to families who wish to pursue reimbursement from their insurance company based on the terms of their policy.
